Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2026-07-18

This is all placeholder boilerplate, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. These Terms and Conditions are for demonstration purposes only. Agreeing to them does not create a binding legal contract, as these are placeholder terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Divinity ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by the Forum Rules. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

Access to the Service is invite-only. You must be old enough to lawfully agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction, and you must provide accurate registration information.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify staff immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Invite Codes

Invite codes are issued at staff discretion and may only be redeemed once. Reselling, trading, or fraudulently obtaining invite codes may result in revocation of the code and suspension of associated accounts.

5. Purchases and Virtual Currency

Any virtual currency ("Halo") or store items are licensed for use within the Service only, hold no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: violate the Forum Rules; upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or use the Service for any illegal purpose.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Forum Rules, at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Divinity and its staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be raised via a Support ticket once your account is active.
